Abstract
Cow's horn and sheep's horn have been widely used in the Faroe Islands as a raw material for various tools and objects, such as spoons, combs, buttons, drinking horns, powder horns, keyhole plates etc. This article deals with the craftsmanship required for treating the raw material and shaping the various objects, all of which are mentioned in the article.
