Abstract
Two outbreaks of Epidemic nausea and vomiting occured among the general population in some villages in Faroe Islands in July-August-September 1938 and 1944. 59 cases (children and adults) are referred to. The signs were: headache, giddiness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal aching, diarrhoe and usually fever. Incubation period generally 1—2—3 multiply 24 hours. Duration few days.
